Inviting Memories is owned and operated by Alyson Whalen.  Alyson understands that the invitation is the first impression for an event, and sets the mood and style before that special day comes.  She strives to design the perfect item for each person’s need.  Whether you want breathtaking, adorable, masculine, delicate, or amusing; she’ll make the perfect item for the occasion.  You won’t find cookie-cutter concepts here.  Everything is uniquely designed just for you.  Of course, if you fall in love with one of our designs, we’ll be happy to personalize it for you.

The concept began in 1998 when Alyson was getting married.  She needed wedding programs, rehearsal dinner invitations, and shower invitations.  She couldn’t find anyone to make what she dreamed of.  So, she and her fiancé (now husband) decided to make the items themselves.  They turned out awesome, and they received great praise on their beauty and professionalism. 

As time passed and they started their family, birth announcements were needed.  Family members asked for birthday invitations and help with their Christmas cards.  Friends were married who requested invitations and programs.  Neighbors got word and had projects to work on.

Alyson has designed wedding invitations, wedding programs, birth announcements, holiday cards, birthday invitations, shower invitations, general party invitations, religious events, graduation open house invitations, thank you note cards and more!  New and unique event ideas are welcome and encouraged.  No challenge will be turned down!
